Sudara Residences Phuket Wins Two Prestigious International Honours for Architecture at A&D Awards
New resort-style residential project in Phuket claims Gold Award in “Architecture – Future Developments, Residential” category and a Certificate of Excellence for “Architecture – Best Residential Housing”

HONG KONG, 24 February 2025 — Sudara, the highly-anticipated new resort-style residential project in the heart of Phuket’s Bangtao district, has won two important architectural titles at the A&D Awards, revealed at a glamorous PERSPECTIVE Gala Presentation ceremony overlooking Hong Kong Harbour on Thursday 20th February 2025.
The two highly prestigious honours included a Gold Award in the “Architecture – Future Developments, Residential” category for Phase 1 of Sudara, and a Certificate of Excellence in the “Architecture – Best Residential Housing” category for the Sudara Sales Gallery. These awards reflect the impressive impact Sudara has made on the residential sector in Phuket since it was first unveiled to the world; the project was previously named as the “Best Luxury Condo Development (Phuket)” in last year’s Property Guru Thailand Property Awards.

More than 170 luminaries from Asia’s architecture and design community gathered at the A&D Awards 2024 to honour winners across 34 categories covering Architecture, Innovation, Interior Design, and Product Design, as assessed by A&D’s international panel of judges. Supporting organisations included The Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Institute for Urbanisation, the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design, AIA Hong Kong, a Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and the Royal Institute of British Architects Hong Kong Chapter.
